But what was he going to say about Schopp? Was hardly going to say that he’ll be sacked in the morning, or if we lose on Sunday. He’s not been sacked, many myself included don’t like it. But there’s nothing he could’ve realistically said to make me feel better about it tonight.
Not to mention the issues with the west stand existed last year with no action taken on Murphy’s watch, despite playing behind closed doors. But why address something that will only be a problem after your contract has expired I guess?
Hmm makes you wonder. But this is what this is all about - we hear the answers but we're all still left wondering and largely none the wiser!
Dane never had this type of adversity to discuss/overcome so its hard to compare. It's easy to front an organisation when they're doing well.
I don't drink so yeh I need to get back with the programme Not to worry about the faulty scoreboard, the displaced west standers, the displaced (out of position, out on a limb) players, or countless other problems, as long as theyve got Becks Blue on the Ponty
I'll wait till I've read a full account but based on what I can glean this is the crux. Trivial points and trivial initiatives are more attempts to deflect and divide. As I say though we need a thorough report
Didn’t they just give some cans out as everyone was leaving and say they’re thinking of putting them on the concourse? Very casual rather than an agenda item.
He had the Stendel statement and dealt with that in a similar way to our new CEO. Radio silence, then fans meetings and saying he needed to communicate better etc etc.
Not surprised at the lack of clarity/honesty in the responses to questions last night. It's what football CEO's (especially those working for Paul Conway) do, bit like Tory politicians. The one that really worries is his statement that there's no fear of relegation. That's beyond bonkers.....
