From Doug O'Kanes interview with our honest and transparent CEO Khaled El-Ahmad says: 'As we speak today, he is the manager and he has the full support of the club.'
Why do chairman and owners always do this? It always ends the same way, the manager gets the sack. The players will have read that, and if he's lost the dressing room they know what's coming. I won't ever say they'd mean to lose, cos I know they wouldn't do it. All you are doing is postponing the inevitable. Put a caretaker in charge and start the clean slate process. Certainly looks like it to me. It's obviously not the type of game you want to lose, but if a defeat signals the end of his tenure, then I'd take it.
What's the odds of a Barnsley win on Sunday. We all know a defeat and MS gone but knowing our luck big Victor will tap in a winner with the very last kick of the game. Our agony prolonged.
