Thought the we have ball / lost the ball.was funny to be honest. Bit of humour rather than toxic chanting that I was expecting to be honest

Jesus christ thought our fans ran riot causing trouble but a few songs on a miserable Sunday afternoon is a low point?

    Jesus christ.

Also schopp deserved everything he had at him. He never thanked us. He never claps our away support that's why he lost our hardcore support from day 1.

Well done fans beside the flares. Not exactly the worse thing in the world if you look what happens in other countries. But flares ain't for me

You need someone to appluad you for attending a football game. Are you 10 years old or something?

I’m speechless, I truly am. So you think that the fan base should just blindly back the most clueless coach I’ve seen in 48 years of watching the Reds?
I think he’s getting off lightly if I’m honest and Jim Iley would surely vouch for that if he was alive to tell the tale.
He’s out of his depth and anyone with half a brain cell can see that.
The team selections he’s making make me think he’s wanting sacking and putting out of his misery.

At the end of the game. The players and coaches, applauded the fans. Schopp' walked towards players, fans still applauding with no booing. He shook hands of every player, and then without acknowledging fans turned and walked back to the dressing room. It was then, and only then that the crowd turned and boo'ed him.

Signing from Ponty end 'we've got/lost the ball' I thought lifted us. But other chants e.g. 'you couldn't score in a brothel', 'your getting sacked in the morning', and 'you don't know what you're doing' sad to hear from home fans. And agree comment regards flares.

They say you can judge team/manager after 10 games. Now 14 played, and for the first time as a Barnsley fan I am not looking forward to going to games. I believe Mr Schopp' is out of his depth and I cannot see any signs he can turn this around. I actually believe in the players. But Mr Schopp' team selections, game mismanagement are puzzling at times. Surely best for all that he moves on.

    Hi everyone
Gosh, bit of a shock, usually threads I create get around 5 replies. Really appreciate everyone's replies and thoughts and don't/won't be affected by what's said. The Forum is and should always be a safe place for us to express our thoughts and feelings.
Anyway, I'm not going to roll back on what I said, maybe add a bit of context,if that's ok.
Me and Mrs K arrived in good time for kick off and watched the warm ups. Barnsley's seemed a bit disjointed and practicing routines that you might do on a Friday. The players are young but today looked nervous and unprepared for a local derby. At half time, the subs had no one for the first 5 minutes and were passing the ball to each other, like you would on the beach or in the park. I know we are short of staff but really, what the heck is going on at the club?
I enjoyed the first half and didn't feel we were in much danger. I would have replaced Adebayo and Freiser at half time, with Cole and Iseka,in order to be more direct. I couldn't believe Mischa got done for pace by Mousset, for the first goal. The lack of self confidence and belief in individuals and the team, quickly became visible.
It was this that upset me today, they are young people and needed support and encouragement. As a Dad of 3,I empathised with them and what they were feeling. Even at 2-0 down,I was confident there was enough time to get back into it, Sheffield United didn't seem as good as I thought they would be.
I loved it when the team went direct and went for it,a case of what might have been.
Well done to the players for having a go,I can see what the Coach is trying to do but he doesn't have the players to do it. Keeping on trying to do this is visibly affecting these young players.
Based on today,my team for future games would be
    Collins
    Sibbick, Helik, Kitching.
    Brittain, Hondermarck,Moon, Styles.
    Woodrow
    Cole,Iseka..
More direct and someone else to take the corners and freekicks.
I have to say that Bfc aren't in the top 10 of things which are causing me anxiety and worry at the moment, although the club is becoming more irritating by the day.
I'm on half term this week but I hope you can all have a great week too if possible.

When you've travelled to bournmouth to watch us not have a shot on goal or blackpool where we could have still been playing now and not scored it goes a long way appreciation.

The game is about opinions but Moon in MF….really? I’m a big critic of Big Vic but anyone who thought he needed subbing today at HT must’ve been at a different game to most people I know. The lad was out only threat for the first hour and then was inexplicably subbed off.I don’t think he’ll ever make a championship footballer but taking him off today when Schopp did was just bizarre…

Was that lady ok that was being treated after being hit or struggling from the flare that was thrown down the front of the ponty end?

You lost me at subbing Adeboyejo and playing Moon in midfield.

I’m no Vic fan but he was lick of the bunch until being dragged off, whilst the wage stealing captain stayed in again.

And as for Jasper Moon? Well opinions are opinions but I really don’t see it.

I thought today's performance by Adeboyejo was his best for us by far.

I think Jasper Moon may be Schopp’s love child? He’s been ok this season and shows a bit of promise but being afforded a nailed in 90 minutes every week is a tad puzzling…..

I couldn't tell if he got injured in the first half, didn't seem to get close to admittedly more experienced opponents. Perhaps it was an off day for him. I thought Hondermarck was fabulous in his short cameo, for one so young.
