Looks like he's going to continue on, the entire club just feels like a shambles at the moment. Despite renewing I haven't been attending and I don't feel like I will bother next week either. I'm already contemplating not renewing next season and spending more weekends at the caravan. Just feel total apathy towards all things BFC at the moment.
Maybe this will change in time and I do miss going and spending time with my mates but it's just hard to justify going when it all feels so miserable.

It's going to get cold soon, do I stay home enjoy time with my family in front of the fire, or go to the game keep warm purely via engaging my rage and risk a heart attack?

I’m exactly the same. At present I won’t be renewing next season either. No point funding a dead project. That’s only designed to make other people money.

You know I never minded the idea of the owners trying to make money on the club, why else would they buy it. Moreover I thought well to make money they would have to make us successful on the pitch. Then I heard those comments from our new CEO this last week saying we basically changed away from a successful style of play so we can have more success in selling off our players quicker.

Yep totally agree if it’s mutually beneficial it’s fine, but evidently that’s not what it’s for.

I know I read it as consensual. Don't know why.

Do yourself a favour and amend that post Stephen, it’s really not a good look.

Edited. Knew it was wrong as soon as I posted it. Wrong word and context.

Add me to the list. Written off my season ticket, can't see me going to another game unless the club ownership changes, and the manager and CEO depart. Can't see me renewing next season, although that's long way off yet. So very sad after 55 years, most of them with a season ticket. I felt bad anyway, but that statement last Thursday finished me off.

I mentioned this to someone at the game yesterday but our Board's ambition for the supporters is essentially for us to cheer for our former players as they enjoy success elsewhere.

Ethan Pinnock doing well for Brentford in the Premier League, John Stones an England regular, etc.

Remove the ambition to be competitive on the pitch, focus on using the club as a trading centre for players, and that's basically all that's left.

Agree completely with the OP. As it stands I won’t renew or attend after this season without significant change. Results aren’t that important but treating the fans with utter contempt is a deal breaker for me.

Players come and go, managers/coaches come and go, owners come and go, supporters remain.

Once a Red, always a Red. Keep the faith.

Supporters are coming from somewhere. When we were in League 1 it used to be around the 7500 season ticket mark with 10,000 plus crowds. Then in recent years our season ticket sales have gone up to the 10,000 mark.
