    Most of the talk here is obviously football, with quite a large side order of politics and current events. But it’s all opinion stuff. We’re all people with unique personalities, and despite the last few years, most of us do care about the rest of us.

    So, without opinions on what is brilliant and what is shíte, what are your hobbies and interests? What makes you tick?

    I love camping and being outdoors, really enjoy cooking, and collect pressed flowers. Also collect old coins and am fascinated by history.

    Interesting topic, Gravy.

    I have numerous hobbies and interests, but I suppose for the last 30 years I've been brewing my own beer and lager at home using a full mash system. I'd even go as far to say that some of the beers have been very tasty and good beers can be made with little (relatively) expense.

    Also used to love camping under canvas and still enjoy cooking but now it's only for me and Mrs Snaptin.

    Have to say I've always wanted to play an instrument but have zero natural talent!!

    I stopped golfing four years ago when I came to Ireland for reasons too long to explain but had spent 20 years playing very average golf all around the UK and abroad and absolutely loved it.
    Since getting here I've been working on restoring the front gardens at the house and turning the field at the back into a garden. Unfortunately a lot of work has been undone this summer as we had to have a new septic tank put in which destroyed 50 percent of what I'd done. C 'est la vie I guess. :)
