Walking with the dogs I borrow 3 days a week & the outdoors generally.
Music - record collecting & wheeling & dealing. I occasionally pick up my guitar too, but fairly infrequently. Live music too, but been a bit busy since lockdown ended to get to much.
Beers & curries. Some decent local breweries round here.
Usually politics, but that has become as depressing as following BFC recently. I usually annoy people with it though after about 4 beers in the pub.

Not willing to meet up for a beer locally, but more than willing to peep over the garden wall to watch me smash the wife from behind in the garden.

    craft beer

I also go swimming every week but I can't really deem it as a hobby as I don't particularly like it, I just don't want to get ridiculously overweight.

    I love music and beer.

But as far as proper hobbies go, I'm a massive nerd.

I collect comic books and vinyl, play video games, watch anything sci-fi related at the cinema and, my biggest shame, I've recently got back into painting and playing Warhammer 40k with some mates, we used to play as kids and now we've got more spare time and cash we've dived back in. At least I'm not a virgin anymore, I suppose!

Walking especially in the Lake District and North Yorks - but the Surrey Hills is my usual haunt
Golf - though currently suspended due to a broken wrist earlier in the summer - should be fit to play again soon
Skiing - hoping to get back to it this winter after missing out last year for the first time in over 30 years
Gardening - though more out of necessity than because I love it - Quite happy cutting grass and hedges and planting things - not so keen on weeding etc
Food either cooking or eating at home or out
oh and currently under review - Watching Barnsley Football club

My grandad had a shed with the greatest model railway I'd ever seen, I can't remember the specifics of it as I was only 8 at the time but it was huge and he'd rigged it to some massive old junction lever thingies which made it even more epic, when he died he left it to me and my brother but my arse of a dad just destroyed it all "cos he wanted the shed".

I was gutted, hated my dad after that.

If you ever get the chance (if you haven't already)... try and visit this place in Hamburg, it might make up for the trauma you endured.

Homepage | Miniatur Wunderland Hamburg (miniatur-wunderland.com)

It's not just railways, but there are plenty of those, but its a place of absolute wonder, clever, witty and the hours gone into it, I can't even imagine. The working miniature airport in particular is just incredible.

I had an N Gauge layout in my bedroom. "ELMSOLNER". A BR based layout on the crossover of the LNER and LMS. Themed around the Brunswick Green Locos. We based it on a crossover because we could use A3's and Coronation locos on the layout. It had eight platforms. Overall roof, canopied platforms, turntable and four road engine shed. My Dad went bankrupt and had to sell the locos we had expensive double slips and crossover points. I had to dismantle it because I'd just started college and didn't want the shell of a redundant layout in my bedroom. I took great care though and saved all the buildings and canopies and put them in a cardboard box in the loft.
