The bit I don’t understand is even let’s say we won today. Unless we then followed it up with another couple as soon as we get beat again a couple of times the fans are still going to want him out. Clearly the bigger issues behind the scenes are the only thing keeping him in a job now as any half sensible professional football club would have had shut before now.
He had to go weeks ago, he is entirely incompetent, the worst Sunday league manager any professional club has ever had, an utter travesty that we ever hired someone to a position so far above their capabilities, but the owners don't care. They just do not give a monkeys about league position, so what he does and doesn't do doesn't matter.
Im convinced they aren’t going to sack him, I can imagine they’re finding reasons not to, constantly, give him till International break, oh no wait players are out give him some more games, oh wait it’s 3 games against teams around us, give him them - well we’ve just lost the 1st and by the time we’ve lost the next 2, or not even won 1 of them I’m afraid I think it’ll be too late to recover.
Needs to go NOW and give someone a chance against teams at bottom!.....no good sacking him later when we play better sides......ffs!!!
If he showed a bit of fight himself from the touchline I might allow myself to cut him a bit of slack, but he just stands there like a dummy in Burtons window, completely devoid of any expression. There's no spark, how you'd expect him to motivate a football team is beyond me. It's like he's dead inside.
Have to agree, his body language is poor, no urgency, no animation. Looks almost uninterested much of the time.
He's given up on the game and just sticking around for the pay. He really should have the decency to hold his hands up, admit this is beyond him and walk.
Definitely because if a team or player needs to break a bad run its guaranteed to be Barnsley who oblige.
