Relegation is part of "the plan"

It wouldn't be a good look for them presiding over a 3rd relegation in their relatively short tenure.

But then keeping Schopp on is negligence which WILL lead to relegation, so who knows, maybe they do want us to go down got whatever reason.

 

I’m starting the think that they’ve given up now they’ve given up on buying a share of the stadium. Last season was the chance, now it’s all about cost cutting.


Much cheaper to run a league 1 club and can develop players there to sell on.

 

If we go down it will be a real stress on finances. Last time they had cash on balance sheet and could take a £4m operating loss.

This time round the cash pile has dwindled, given they aren’t putting their own money in, expect a fire sale of players. If players can’t be sold the club has some pretty dark days ahead.

But Kahled isn’t worried about relegation, he’s going to judge success on transparency and his family’s happiness.

 

For borderline Championship players being 'developed' League One is a good shop window. I too suspect it is part of the plan.

 

Not to mention the fall in season ticket revenue.

 

Be a excuse to not reopen west stand if we went down , watching these cretins destroy the club we all love is borderline criminal.

 

I’m sure there’ll be takers for the likes of Helik and styles at knock down prices. Probably add Woodrow, Morris, Brittain, Andersen and iseka. But what if there’s no clubs willing to match our salary for the likes of Thomas, Kane, Schmidt etc is the big concern.
