    I'm currently sat next to Chris WIlder watching today's PL games. Working with him all day. What do you reckon......spike his coffee or bundle him into my boot and keep him sedated till Wednesday??

    I'd genuinely rather keep Schopp.

    Unfortunately we disagree , none of the three you list apply, there is no guarantee of championship football , money is questionable as we pick up our managers from low budget non descript leagues where any decent wage offered would be attractive , I would argue that Rotherham being top end division one have a decent squad & if they progress will probably strengthen whilst our squad lack quality, but the key factor is something you have not mentioned & that is that he currently works for a local owner who loves the club & backs him whilst we have cowboy owners who have no local interest & have zero interest in the fans or the progression of the club, no manager out of the Paul Warne mould would come to us, it would be a backward step.

    Easiest solution would be sack him and give Hecky a caretaker game by game contract. Convinced the players are capable of better with a change of formation and tactics and impetus.

    I've struggled to type this btw cos I literally couldn't give a fk at the minute. Least amount of interest in the club since Glynn Hodges said its only the FA Cup.

    2. Suspect Schopp will be paid more than Warne simply due to 1. above
    3. Our squad is streets ahead of theirs

    I do not understand why you would think that Schopp would be the higher earner I think you are guessing however their wages are none of our business & both managers must be happy on the financial front but you say that Barnsley are a championship team & siting this as a reason for Warne to jump ship , we are a joke club on the way down whilst Rotherham are well on course to take our place under the stewardship of Paul Warne , I have cited a number of sound reasons to why he would not come to us & being bottom of the championship is not an attraction at all but the football world are well in the know & coming to Oakwell under our current owners is not an attractive proposition to any current English coach who is currently employed , you know as well as I do that when the job comes up again that it will go to some unknown cheap option , that pains me to say but unless things alter with the suits then thats how its going to be for now & the immediate future .

    Schopp Will easily be the higher earner but there are lots of other reasons why he wouldn’t want the job.

    if it were a player they would definitely come a manager perhaps not.
