I'd say there's something in it to be that short.

    Possibly , possibly not

a quick search on Twitter shows that someone asked for his odds yesterday, he got added by William hill and us now 1:5

could have just been that someone put a lot of cash on it

Won’t have to pay compo and is highly regarded. Would rather him be a League 1 manager before jumping to Champ. Bit risky from our point of view.

It's not the same Mike Flynn we had as a player.

He's favourite for the Cardiff job as well. Not really surprising that us and Cardiff are being linked with very similar names. To be fair, Flynn did an absolutely tremendous job at Newport until this season. I'm not quite sure what went on for him to resign (other than them suddenly going from being good to rubbish), but he's obviously got something about him. However, whether he's what we'd need right now is highly doubtful, bearing in mind his lack of experience above League 2 and our precarious position.

He’s been 4/11 fav for Cardiff job the last 2 days. Thought there may have been sumat in that but nothing happened yet. Still feel it will be nobody on the top 10 odds list. As usual

Doesn’t even take a lot of cash as it’s a market nobody touches. Although 1/5 is seriously steep, but Paddy Power and Bet Victor haven’t even opened the betting at all.

Mentioned it the other day but Darren Moore was 4/9 at one point recently. Either pre-Val or pre-Struber.

Bet Victor was quoting prices yesterday morning, but at some point closed the book later on.

Mike Flynn would be another Steve Parkin type appointment.

Parkin, Robins Keef and little Lee all of the same Ilk .. if you look at us as a club realistically thats where we are.. perhaps be more suited to L1 than Boa Morte if we go down..
Give the lad a chance.. everyone can blame Schopp for ruining the players if we go down anyway..
Plus you'd need a new coach that is ok with selling one or two in January..

Because the club as already stated so.. players are ambitious and to bring players in we must raise the revenue to do so...

They didn’t already state it though. You’re basing that off one person’s comment who gave a caveat ‘someone might have heard it differently’ which I’ve already explained I did.

Yes, but which players? Selling one or two that are out on loan or not making the team is a very different prospect to selling important regular starters. That would also raise funds in January.

    Skynobet:

    Flynn 1/5
    Wilder, Laumann, Boa Morte 8/1
    Neil, Ilzer, McCarthy 14/1

Further down the list, one we could have a bit of fun with:
    Stefan Kuntz 20/1

    I doubt Conway would dare!
