Really hope for positive ones and not silly ones for changes sake.

Hopefully no playing out from the back, get it forward. Obbi Oulare through the middle with Iseka and Cole feeding off his knock downs.
Low risk football, can’t afford to mess about with it.

Not sure about dropping him but he wants taking off corners for starters.

Fairly confident Benson will be on corners and free kicks further out than 30 yards.

Maybe Hondermarck instead of Gomes? In any case that looks like a solid, balanced and logical side. One which should not remotely be struggling at this level.

I didn't pick Hondermarck because I've given up hope of him starting a game. He would be first name on my team sheet if his face fit.

I would tweak my seating arrangement & move my position from left east stand to right west stand supported on either flank by one grandson on my left ,the other on my right .

My tweak would be less faffing with the ball and start going more direct like last season.

The changes that need making are the ridiculous high line without pressure on the ball, more bodies in midfield and an increase in tempo (if fitness allows).

The other change is dependent on a couple of players suddenly caring more and not going through the motions at certain stages.

I wouldn't have Gomez anywhere near the starting 11 after his first half performance on Saturday.

Sibbick needs to play to provide pace at the back and I'd move Mads to the left and drop Kitching. If Styles is fit then he plays on the left, which means I'd move J Williams to the right in place of Brittain (who needs a rest). The only viable midfield pairing at the moment is Benson and Palmer (I'd have Hondermarck on the bench as first replacement). Unfortunately, the front 3 pick themselves though I'd be tempted to drop Woodrow (who I think is great but another who has been frustrating in recent weeks) however we don't have any alternative at the moment so he plays. I generally don't like 3-4-3 but I don't think this is the game to change the formation.

    Collins
    Sibbick, Helik, Anderson
    J Williams, Benson, Palmer, Styles
    Cole, Woodrow, Iseka

That's likely the 11 I'd go with in the short term. But I'd play deeper and try and apply more pressure on the ball. Not sure if we'd be able to do that with that 11 at first, but it's probably the best we can do.

Yep, something to stop us from being so easy to get in behind like we have been. It's as if Schopp was trying to play the tactics of his usual low block/counter attacking or whatever you want to call it, with the line positioned for a high press. By definition the two styles are contradictory to each other and was never going to work. I just hope Laumann has a clearer plan.
