    My opinion is the same.

he’s trying. Just not playing well. That doesn’t mean he isn’t trying. To suggest he is stealing a wage is disrespectful.

I didn't share the opinion then, he runs around a lot but never jumps to win a header, shirks a tackle, constantly dives and most attempted passes are a poorly attempted flick or trick.

Having the captaincy is a further burden and he is not a leader and provides no form of positive example or leadership skills.

The constant drifting into midfield has occurred under all managers except Stendel and his strike rate Is only held up by penalties.

Get him in the box and give him the service then see if he improves, if not its time for him to go

It's our tactics that are letting Woodrow down at the minute. He should be playing up top instead of Cole or Victor.

Does nothing for me playing as an attacking midfielder, which he is at the minute.

I thought he went up top for the last 30 mins and made no impact whatsoever, Cole and probably Vic look far more threatening.

Cole looks dangerous with his pace but has missed 3 incredible chances already (Sheff United, Bristol City and today). I hope I’m not missing any but he’s a striker and needs to score, that is what he’s judged on mainly.

I hope Morris is fit and raring to go after the international break because he offers us pace, strength and an eye for a goal, or at least he did last season.

Woodrow should be dropped. Said it in a previous post and say it again. He's being carried and to be carried in a poorly performing team is simply not good enough. I've had reservations about his supposed quality for a long time but at the very least he DOES need dropping. There are others to pick from and would at worst play just as feebly but perhaps would perk the forward line up.

If Cole scored every good chance he gets he wouldn't be playing for us, I'm quite happy to cut him some slack because of the threat that he poses. It's strikers that don't get on the end of anything that worry me.

We were crying out for an extra body in midfield at half time today. That’s where we we’re getting overrun, it was obvious to everyone. I’m sorry but Woodrow was awful for 90 mins today and can no longer be assured of starting. He should’ve come off at the break as Cole had played pretty well (apart from the missed headed chance).
The 343 has to be binned ASAP. We need a new pair of eyes over the squad especially with the January window looming in a few weeks. If this defeat ensures Laumann doesn’t get the job it might be a good thing.

Its obvious, we have too many forwards and defenders and no midfielders. We were short of midfielder's last season even with Mowatt. Because we bypassed the midfield last season it wasn't such an issue. We played an extremely high press. That appears to have gone. We are trying to play more football and play through the thirds but being light in midfield is killings us. There is a real need to change the formation but dont have the players in the squad to do it. I dont envy the next Manager/Coach they are in for a hiding for nothing. We are having to play to many players who should still be in the under 23s learning their craft and not being over exposed in the Championship. I fully believe the players are giving 100% but a lack of clear guidance structure and a midfield is a painful watch.

Spot on assessment. There’s no bite in that midfield at all. Hull were all over us in the middle all game.
Made me laugh when Benson kicked the dug out after being subbed. Pity he hadn’t shown similar aggression on the pitch.

Yep, I was wondering what Benson was rooerin' about; he actually got 30 or more minutes play than he deserved. He was so poor today it was unbelievable.

Cauley always puts in a shift but I feel he is suited to playing his best football when he is playing off a big target man. At the moment he is trying to be everywhere. Being captain has not helped his game either.Good player but seems to have got worse this season.
