Obviously no English based manager is going to touch us with a pole volt never mind a barge pole. I bet we've interviewed a number of candidates from the continent and the winner will be the one who's visa comes back first. As for the backroom team I've no idea. To be honest I'm past caring now it's dragging on and according to the chrom it could be next week. If we go down that's me done forever after 45 years.
I once used it and didn't look at the floor. Pulled my trousers down into a puddle of piss. I only realised when I'd wiped my arse and pulled my trousers back up and I'd got a wet arse. I was sat in someone else's piss all night.
I'm bordering on being done already. I bought a season ticket in 19/20 but only attended one game through choice. My heart just wasn't in it anymore. The results this season and general incompetence of both the board and the players has given me a sense of apathy I doubt I'll check anytime soon.
The quote attributed to Conway before the sacking suggests why we don't make quick appointments. Barnsley is a tough proposition to sell to any manager worth hiring. Very limited budget (the owners' choice), strict transfer policy re young players (owners' choice) and massive turnover of backroom staff (wonder why that is?). Could be quite a bit longer yet.
Visa problems probably, plus we’ve been unlucky that some of our targets ( according to some fans ) have been nicked by other clubs , Howe, Gerard , Xavi …
It's no different to recent appointments is it? Keep fans hanging on as long as possible, build up a bit more resentment, hire a dud, then shut the West Stand. Job done.
Yes him as well Dee Dar bloke sure I saw him in Sheffield Tap in a BFC shirt must have been a Boro one
It's 10 days since Schopp was sacked, and by all accounts, it wasn't a sacking that had been planned well in advance. 10 days isn't a long time in the grand scheme of things. If we're still looking for a manager by the next home game, then I'll be concerned.
