    'Championship club Barnsley knocked on the door of KV Mechelen for Vrancken'

    Wouter Vrancken is doing well at KV Mechelen . Malinwa is again in a good fourth place. Het Laatste Nieuws reports that Championship club Barnsley is charmed by the coach.

    Barnsley is penultimate in the English second division and was looking for a new coach after the resignation of Markus Schopp. It therefore knocked on KV Mechelen for Vrancken, but KVM immediately closed the door. No negotiations were therefore started.

    It is also questionable whether Barnsley was able and willing to pay the surrender clause in Vrancken's contract. The English club is now looking at other options. Barnsley is also owned by Pacific Media Group, the same company that is the majority shareholder in KV Oostende.

    It still doesn't take two weeks to identify and to get knocked back by said coach/club tho dose it... Is there one or two others that fell through to be revealed I wonder.

    If the report is true it sounds like, us "can we talk to your coach" them "no" us "fair enough".
