I could take them or leave them, but I saw them at don valley supported by Ugly Kid Joe and Terrorvision, great gig that. Also I think Rocket was the first ever 7" I bought with my own money.
I saw them play at the Reform Club in Wombwell one Monday Night just before they went to the USA and made it big. I don't think some of them were old enough to drink. They were good but I never thought they would make it as big as they did.
I saw them there too a couple of times, Monday nights at The Dale Club was a good night out, Tuesdays at Birdwell, Wednesdays at The Village Club Cudworth, Fridays Pussycats in Wakey, Saturdays in Town, good days.
Funnily enough I'm off to see Thunder supported by Ugly Kid Joe next year, been postponed about 10 times!!!
Saw Shef Leppard (tribute band) at Birdwell club a couple of month ago, brilliant, played a few old stuff off high n dry & pyromania which are decent albums.
Def Leppard were the first band i ever saw live. Sheffield Arena in the round. Was also at that Don Valley gig and agree with a poster above about thunder stealing the show. Coincidentally Hysteria - Def Leppard and Back Street Symphony - Thunder were the first 2 CD's i ever bought
