A 2D view of a white circular object with a fuzzy green glow round the edges and white green plume fall from the Sky at a 45 degree angle towards Wombwell/ Elsecar.
It's ET. I know that. I know it utterly and completely. So why does the name John Major come into my head every time I look at that photo?
Be thankful your nob doesn't look like his right index finger. He's had that digit in some dodgy orifices.
I guess it might have been a meteorite. A few years a few of us saw a similarly coloured thing shoot across the sky. It wasn't a tiny white shooting star but, as you describe, a much larger multi coloured flash. Quite remarkable.
It’s weird you should say that, we saw exactly the same thing driving up the M1 near to the Yorkshire sculpture park, my daughter ( who’s an adult) thought it was a shooting star, I only saw it briefly as was driving but it I pointed out to her it looked green. Very bizarre. It would have been around 7pm. edit: I’ve reported it here https://ukmeteornetwork.co.uk/ You might like to do the same @Stephen Dawson
