Heartily sick of adverts interrupting Youtube videos on my mobile ...

    I look at it this way, youtube is a great service & I can just about put up with the adverts, hate them but I'll put up with them, just minst.

    Lately they have been taking the absolute Michael. I got Vanced app a few months ago, wont look back unless it changes

    yeah agreed. i try to avoid using YouTube on phone because of the ads. if you're a Mac user, dbk labs Clicker for YouTube is brilliant

    As well as the number of views, having an advert is one of the ways the content creators of the videos we are watching get a little bit of money (if it has been monitized.) I'm happy to watch an ad when it helps the creators.

    I use chrome and find it really annoying that you can't use an adblocker extension on android but you can on windows. Makes no sense to me unless Google have signed up to some sort of deal with the advertisers.

    brave browser auto blocks on laptop - dunno bout mobile. Maybe you could use a VPN to sign up to russian youtube premium? :)
