True. Seems pointless you have to print one off to prove you're not trying to dodge paying.

    Go for it Tina.
Put it far better than I ever could. One of the best posts I've ever read.
Still. Marrying a wendy is pretty unforgivable also. :)
See you on the Peterborough bus. :)

Wish it was just a case of them being just incompetent by and large. This current lot are corrupt and liars and have shown they will go to any lengths for personal gain, be it financial, career or other. Johnson and his cabinet are heartless cowards and bullies, often running away from questioning about their Ill- deeds. It does seem that people are now gradually seeing through their banging of the patriotic drum as smokescreen for their policies. Let’s hope so

I'd vote Tory if I thought they might win. Can't say I mind the angry posts, they're cute in their own way.

What, so you only care about voting for a Party that might win. Irrespective of what policies they have, their previous record of being in power? If so, then that’s exactly what’s wrong with this country. Cue But Labour, but Corbyn replies.

created a great amount of uncertainty for people in the path of the proposed line, like in Mexborough, where people moved into a new estate only to find out it was going to get flattened - all for nothing, the benefits were never worth it - 20 minutes off the journey time to London? Big whoop, get the service East to West fixed first!

Yup, I couldn't vote for a Labour party likely propped up by the SNP and influenced by people like Owen Jones.

If Owen Jones and the SNP are your only concerns, then, first of all you’ve been going around with your ears and eyes shut, when it comes to politics. If the horrible Rees-Mogg and the corrupt lot in govt, are your thing, then it probably speaks volumes about you

To be fair it probably does, but then who cares what you think? And I don't say that to be mean, it's genuine apathy. It's every man for himself at the end of the day.

That’s sad and very selfish, caring about others in Society and indeed, society itself is what helps communities flourish and is more patriotic than anything any right-wing idiot mouths out

This is the problem with labour. They are seen as too left wing (by the country) or not left enough (by its members)

It does need to appeal to more progressive and middle ground to ever get a sniff.

And so the infighting begins. And then whilst the infighting is in full swing, they forget to play opposition against the Tory's that are ripping this country to pieces.

Tory's just laugh at it and get away with what they do, cos it didn't have any real opposition.

Which incidentally, starmer has shifted some policies, he's now got a lead in the polls. (Refer to my 2nd paragraph)

    You see, I don'think that
Apart from the fact that they're wholly incompetent which I do agree with, I think they know exactly what they're doing.
Witness 'austerity' and Osborne and Cameron getting wildly drunk celebrating its introduction at a Mansion House Dinner after Cameron's famous words
    "We're all in this together!"
Then they dealt the killer pension blow to women born in the fifties!
They know exactly what they're doing in my opinion.

I don't know if it's appeared on many peoples radars... But the motion to approve Patersons wrongdoing has gone through, finally. This despite a notorious tory MP, Chris Chope calling foul last night and objecting. Now the tory party is full of some really grim people. But it's worth looking up Chris Chope and getting a taste for what he thinks are priorities in the commons.

His list of things he's blocked or voted against or filibustered range from FGM, upskirting, righting homophobic sanctions, restricting parking fees for carers, Alan Turings pardon and much much more.

And Stanley Johnson seems to be in the firing line. Accused of sexual harassment against Caroline Nokes.

That’s hard to believe as it’s not incompetent to rob pensioners because they’ve got a tad more raise their manifesto didn’t intend .
It shows the pledge was a lie all along and the first time a substantial (subjective) rise was forthcoming they vote it down .
This lot never meant to level up in any department and throwing crumbs deceives the voter until a larger crumb they didn’t intend gets thrown then the greed to claim it back from the needy to the greedy hopefully shows them what they were ,are and ever will be .

Why not buy one via trainline app? I agree the machine should be in use though.

I firmly believe that they have no intention whatsoever to level up.
It's a massive con and people fell for it.
Amy money they do spare from their precious coffers will be prioritised for Northern areas who have sitting Tory MPs for pacifying purposes!
