I must admit I'm not particularly keen on spending the rest of my life having to live in fear unless I have a jab every six months . I get offered the flu jab every year but never take it because I feel secure enough to know it won't kill me if I catch it . As a footnote my youngest daughter caught COVID about 6 weeks ago , zero symptoms . Returned to school after ten days then a week later had to have a COVID vaccine ! What's the point but I guess this is where we are .

Labour Party is a social Democratic Party or that's what what it said on the back of my Labour Party Membership Card .
Starmer has removed all of that and has made Labour into a hard right party .
Not much difference policy wise between the two now .

No-one seems up for a leadership challenge though?

Look, we tried Corbyn, twice, it failed, infact we got the worse seat return since 1936 or something. Labour will never win a general election in a first past the post system with a Left wing agenda. Maybe it was just the credibility of Corbyn? Maybe it was the press? Maybe it was Brexit? Maybe it was this, maybe it was that, whatever, Labour aren't getting in like that, you might as well wish for unicorns and rainbows. So, you can have an ideologically pure left wing party that never has power and condemn the country to Tory rule forever or you have to appeal to enough voters to get them out. Our voting system does not lend itself to narrow ideologies - you need a broader church. I believe that the Tory party have been hijacked by UKIP, and whilst their views had the majority back when we voted leave, this is no longer the case. As the further elements of the "deal" kick in and it becomes even more difficult for all kinds of reasons because of Brexit people are going to get more and more angry about it and rightly so. There's a chance to form a progressive left and no contest seats that are unwinnable to get these criminals out of power, changing the leader of the Labour party before he's even fought a general election is brainless and totally counter-productive.

I find it amazing that people don' want a vaccine to protect them against a deadly Virus - the data proves that it does protect against it, because "its still in trials" and think its going to effect their health in some other way, yet are quite happy to drink watered down ethanol - a known cancer causing poison which destroys life at a molecular level. There's some heavy cognitive dissonance going on to square that circle in people brains.

    Little bit confusing.
I am most way through isolation. Due to having Covid. ( my lateral test came back negative. Went for a PCR test 2 days later. Came back positive) My booster was due from yesterday. I was told I can't book till 4 weeks after my isolation period and will need to have a test to prove I haven't got it.
After proving positive I can't go for another test until 90 days are up. o_O
Me. My mrs and my Eldest all tested positive on the same day. Thankfully all coming through it ok. I seem to be the one who has suffered the least. ( still feel 5h1te though)
I'm 100% convinced I had it in Dec 2019 when I was hospitalised in bad nick with far more serious symptoms of covid than I have now.
If anyone is still not sure of having the Jab. I am convinced it reduces the severity of covid if it helps.

It's crazy. You usually don't get medical treatment unless you need it. But now boosters are being handed out without antibody tests first to see if you really need one. The government are acting like immunity is the same for everyone when it won't be. When a pensioner is due a booster I bet their immunity will be far lower than when say someone in their 20s is due their booster. I would doubt immunity drops at the same speed in everyone regardless of health, age, weight etc.

Its a choice. Children have died pal from it. Or are you gonna be one of them who say it was something else but all the deaths are actually covid?

And if u have to have one every year so what? Really, so what? My only request would be they try and combine it with the flu jab, to avoid going twice.

I’d put Labour just to the right of Johnson on economic issues and slightly to the left on social issues but too difficult to split them really.

Just adding to the conversation. Believe it or not. Why else would Doris be pushing additional boosters. Time will tell.

It's called having a bit of common sense, not an opinion.

The guy can't even spell vaccine remotely right, but you continue to believe some random twitter account.
