We'll be fine. Plan for worst but hope for the best. I think we can manage the 10 wins but it's just if we can get enough draws in the games we should lose.

I'm always cautiously optimistic in these situations. We've got out of similar situations in the past :)

I just hope that Benson and Gomes don't become the next Gardner and Williams. They both look similar steady Eddies to me. Both play too deep and get in each others way.

The two are incompatible; if it's successful, it won't be long!

Let the new guys sort out what they want to do with the players and system. What I didn't like this season was the continual chopping and changing of players, some out of position - just to play 3-4-3.

Do you think they'll have some input for Saturday?

Without doubt. There's no point them sitting on their hands for 4 days

Yeah can see the stepping out of the directors box routine at half-time rallying us from 3-0 down to a thrilling 3-3 draw.

They played four at the back without the ball. With the ball they left two at the back and the full backs were so far up the pitch they were basically wingers. Ireland were playing very compact though and were intent on keeping shape defensively so Sweden had a lot of the ball.

Good luck to the bloke. He needs to get his arse in gear if he’s to sort this lot out. I’m not holding my breath though.

Sounds like us under Stendel when Cavare and Pinillos/Ben Williams were doing the same.

Except without the ball Cavare forgot to get back into position. It seems to me we've been done many times this year by having our wing backs high up the pitch, lost the ball, failed to press from the front and/or get back into position in defence and been turned around in a mass cavalry charge towards our goals. Lets hope this guy knows how to defend without the ball.

I don't care who he picks and whether they play in their 'correct' position. I also don't care what formation he deploys. All I care about - for this season - is can he win enough games and keep us in same division.

Looking at his record he sure does like a draw.

    Welcome Poya and Ferran.

I am excited to see what they can bring to this team, and I wish them good luck for the future.
