    Going out next Friday and looking for somewhere decent to eat in the afternoon with some atmosphere . We are staying at native which I think is near the Northern quarter

    Walkley has nailed it with Freight Island; if it’s poor weather though a decent alternative with similar food options is Mackie Mayor as well.

    If you’re in Northern Quarter go for one in Hold Fast, only because it’s my favourite bar and it’s what we’ve tried to build a replica of in the cellar…

    great stuff will do, thanks mate - think I’ve heard of Mackie Mayor come to think of it. Bought some tickets during lockdown to attend Camelphat at WHP…..after many beers…..now slightly apprehensive about trying to pass myself off as one of the young folk…..
