I was told by folk on here that their return would compensate for the fact that we hadn't replaced the experience we lost in Mowatt, and that their return would revitalise this team....

    What happened?

Oh right. Soz mate. Don't realise it included games to get fit and that.

So how many games now before the revolutionary capacities people said they're capable of come to fruition?

We won Madds’ second game back didn’t we? After losing eight in a row? He never played against Hull either.

Asking that question after Fulham away for Morris deserves a much stupider response to be fair

Never thought they'd replace the experience and commitment we lost with Mowatt but Mads is better than kitching and Moon and Morris has only just played his first match since injury so jury's out on that one.

Poor decision to start with Morris yesterday. IMO he should’ve come on after about an hour. I would’ve started with Iseka and Adeboyejo instead of Morris and Freiser.

I'd start with an aspidistra instead of Frieser.

A fridge/freezer on the field would have been more help than freiser yesterday

I agree - it isa stupid question. And you've proved my point really, as I didn't think having Andersen and Morris back would change much.

My point was that there were lots of posts in recent times that said when Morris and Andersen were back we'd look like a different side. Or are you saying people didn't post that?

Andersen must be close to match fit? How many games he had - 4?

Sorry for being stupid again but to be clear they are still going to make us look a completely different side but just not quite yet?

I mean, I can't really be bothered to trawl through old posts to find verbatim quotes, so you can either believe me or think I'm making it up/am exaggerating.

That Morris and Andersen would be pivotal to our finding form again was definitely a sentiment expressed by a fair few posters in a couple of different threads, particularly one or two on giving Schopp more time, i.e. we couldn't judge Schopp until he had (specifically) Morris and Andersen back: they would be the difference.

Anyway. Who cares. I started this thread in bad mood on tube home last night.

It is my sincere hope that Andersen and Morris bang 5 in on Wednesday night and make me look a tît.

I posted that. Not necessarily in their first games back but in general yes we’ll be a far better team with Anderson playing games ahead of Kitching or Moon & Morris playing ahead of any of our forwards. I still think that’ll prove to be the case.

As one of said people that was saying it would help when they came back, I never said that they would make the difference immediately. In fact I specifically remember saying something along the lines of "I'd like to see Schopp have a few games with a full squad, specifically with Andersen and Morris back to see if there's an improvement".

Having Anderson and Morris back will of course make a difference.

Just probably not away at Fulham.
