Yorkshire Post article says we've also talked with Bradford City about a groundshare, seemingly more recently than the Rotherham talks. https://www.yorkshirepost.co.uk/spo...RmYH5rg11U-9LwjbbjejKGx-_AuU-DfmZrTZ2Bnp7KN2Y
Where does this crap come from? Not a single direct quote about discussing ground sharing with Bradford. Sh it journalism.
"The Reds hierarchy are understood to have discussed the potential for formal talks with the Bantams at several junctures last season regarding the feasibility of relocating away from Oakwell in the future – but nothing ultimately materialised." This could also read, "we think the club spoke about having talks, but didn't have talks."
But Khaled said it was a false rumour about ground sharing. Can we trust anything the current owners say anymore? I think not
I suspect it comes from sources within the club. A local newspaper isn't going to write an article without some information from a source. Could be the ConLee consortium trying to ratchet up more dissatisfaction within the fan base to illicit a higher offer. It could be other parts of the ownership group trying to whip up dissent against the owners. Alternatively, Bradford could have leaked talks, but I doubt that given the wider context of recent talks with the council.
I'd like to think that this is the Yorkshire Post stirring the pot. However, if not, and if this is true, then I won't go. I travel enough to watch us, including home matches which aren't that easy, so won't go any further.
