I'm finding it pretty boring, but we're not losing; we look more composed, at least defensively, and we're not even 45 minutes into the new gaffers tenure.
I honestly can’t believe folk are moaning. His first target was obviously to stop shipping soft goals. I suspect he will then want to work on fitness levels so we can ‘press ‘ properly. I’d sooner watch this than have us running round like headless chickens like we were.
Can't fault the way we're trying to defend, but this is San Marino/Andorra tactics when they're playing Germany/Italy/Us. We met these in the play-off final a few months ago and we're at home!
We need to win home games, it's as simple as that if we have any intention of staying in this division. Defensively we look a little more organised but at some point we're going to have to push on and go for it more. Draws are no good to us.
I'm quite enjoying it. It's streets ahead of everything else I've seen this season except that weird single first half where we looked like we'd walk the league.
Giving away chances playing like this now. The style isn't helping us. We're soaking it up but cracks are appearing now.
If their manager has anything about him they’ll score a hatful second half. It’ll be a good early test of our manager to see if he can change things for the better.
