It took 43 minutes for Swansea to register a shot and had 2 in a short space of time. So defensively that's a massive improvement. And massively much more organised. Issue is that with next to zero possession ourselves, we have looked the least threatening we have been all season. So, defensively at least, way better.
well Positives. We look better organised at the back and haven’t conceded Negatives we can’t keep the ball and I can’t see us scoring
Glad I haven't paid money to watch that. Looked like 2 teams having a friendly kick about. Thoroughly boring although looked solid to be fair. Not sure what the plan is, maybe bore them to death?
Bet you anything that our average possession last season was considerably lower than so far this term - not sure where I'd go to check it though!
Yes, but I wouldn’t call it bad from our point of view. We have been well organised. Swansea however are playing the most boring football you could ever imagine!
Much better defensively. Hopefully it's a case of steadying the ship to build confidence and progress from there. Another poster referenced Swansea defenders blocking off runs. I'd noticed that too, it's like they're an NFL team!! but no ref is giving a penalty for that
At least we have a plan and the players seem to understand it. Let’s see what Poya’s half time talk brings about.
Shots are incorrect Swansea had 2. One was on target (a header) deflected for a corner the other wide. We had one. Freizer, and was blocked
That's just it we aren't. Those two chances should have been two goals so what transpired in the 43 mins before would have meant f cuk all. We're level through them missing two guilt edged opportunities than good defending. Can't you see that?
