I just looked at our form this season. Lost 10 out of 11. Won 1 in 17. Failed to score in 50% of our games. No clean sheet in the last 11 and only 3 all season, including one against lower league opposition. And we're into our 3rd coach. I think we desperately need 3 points on Saturday, but the spark to do so is going to have to come from out of the blue. They are the sort of stats you look at and think such a team is bang on to be relegated.
To be fair its not that long since we beat a decent Derby side although if we play again like last Wednesday we will not win another game this season
I believe we have won 2 games this season, although the stats are grim it is a 100 % increase in the win column
Im going for 2-0 to Peterborough - not very confident about how many goals they will score - could be anywhere between 0 and 4 - pretty confident we will score 0 though
How many own goals will we get then? Be lucky to hev 4 shots if it takes as long as on Wednesday gerrin from back to front.
I can see Saturday's performance being polar opposite to Wednesday. Asbaghi had a game plan that was working until Swansea scored. The players executed the game plan to a point. However, they showed Swansea too much respect. Recent performances against Swansea didn't help either. Peterbrough will be a different kettle of fish. I think we'll give them the lip service " it'll be a tough game, good team" yadda, yadda. I don't think we'll respect them at all to be honest and go there for the win. Ironically it will be them expecting us to keep it tight that will give us the advantage.
You make some valid points there.I don't think Peterborough can play like Swansea even if they wanted to. I expect a more open game with maybe us playing the "Swansea " way and having more possession to try and frustrate them and the Peterborough fans. I'll go for a 2-1 Reds win.
