    So, it's snowing and I'm toying with the idea of putting the decorations up while it's atmospheric but I can't reconcile doing it before Wednesday. So the other option is curling up with the dog watching the football.

    Put the decorations up with the footy on in the background you know it makes sense.

    I did mine yesterday, Helen. Put them up if you want them up. I have noticed over the last few years that the trend seems to be putting them up earlier, but taking them down earlier too. One person I know takes theirs down on Boxing Day. I usually take mine down between Christmas and New Year.

    We do it after New Year, as that's part of the festive period. The dog's made the decision for me, don't have the heart to turf him off my lap and that penalty was cool by Toney!

    We have a birthday at New Year and always made the decision to not have Christmas decorations up for the birthday.

    Whenever you want I suppose, put our Tree up yesterday as my son wanted it up, doesn't hurt anyone.

    Edit - I remember when I was about 19 and lived with a friend we put a tree up and could never be bothered taking it down left it up while the following Christmas.

    Everton looked nearly as toothless as us. I'm not convinced by Calvert-Lewin but they're missing him terribly. Good performance by Ethan Pinnock again, looks every inch the Premier League defender. Mad to think we were so close to playing them for a place in the top flight :(
