Did a nice walk with the dogs I walk today. Was bloody cold. Felt alive. I'm coping with things, thanks. Not really in any sort of happy place, but then again who is? Seeing my Mum suffering from cancer ain't helping I guess. Usually the football is some kind of escape, but at the moment I really think it is toxic. All the social aspects have pretty much gone at the moment. Just got to be glad I've got over long Covid by the looks. I've been struggling to run my business feeling so ill & then there is the f-ing match day. As I posted elsewhere, thank God I don't live in one of the war zones we are responsible for. I'm a lucky ******* in that respect. Depression is a tough beast. Had a head injury 26 years ago, with brain damage, so it's spectre is always there. I run a tight business, but sometimes I'm personally in pieces. Maybe just first world problems. My Great Grandad was wounded at the Somme. Grief. Grow a pair of balls. Life goes on. COYRs.

Iris, our current dog, has been loving the snow. She’s turned into a little bouncy puppy! I’m sorry to hear about your mum, I hope her treatment goes well and she is on the mend soon. Football is definitely not a great escape at the moment, although there’s hallow’s humour to be had I suppose. Depression is a bugger isn’t it, always there to rear its ugly head. You’ve got through 100% of the bad days so far though so that’s a pretty good record. Got to keep up that streak!

Mum has a very short time to live. She is so brave, thanks. I'm a very lucky person in many ways. Rex, Jess & Roo are great companions. I love them so much. I can't have my own dog anymore & they are the best, They were in good form today. Love them. Leeds City Council look like paying me a small fortune they owe me in the next few days. That would help a bit.

I’m glad you get to dog share and they can help distract and cheer you up. Dogs are the best like that. Good news on the money front too, it’s always nice to receive money for a change, even if it is just your own back.
