    I think his book 1984, the titles year number significance was a reversal of the year he wrote it i.e. 1948. Wasn't Room 101 his office at the BBC?

    Orwell's working title was 'The Last Man in Europe.' His publisher came up with 1984 (which may well be the reversal). Orwell by all accounts wasn't too impressed with it.

    So you're having a go at the Guardian for maybe possibly being just a little bit biased to the left when virtually ALL the rest of our media is MASSIVELY biased to the right. Great to have a little bit of balance eh?
