    Horrible crash at the start of the F2 race, Enzo Fittipaldi hit the back of Theo Pourchaire who had stalled on the grid.
    Hope both are OK.

    Didn’t see it but just read about it now.

    I’m thinking we could have a fair few laps under the safety car for this race.

    Is it bad I’m hoping that Max’s gearbox is actually broken? I’d love to see Horner’s face if it is. Although it would be even better to see Lewis beat him on track.

    Be amazed If we don't get a safety car which could swing the race it has before. Interesting to see Hamilton saying nice things about Bottas think he's desperate for him to put up a battle against Max.

    Yes he should was very clear. Very lucky but that's the gamble you take pitting. I thought it was early for Mercedes to gamble and pit.

    Ironically his cheating is the sole reason that max is now in front. If he hadn't done that max could have pitted but he backed him up so much that he took the option away.

    I think Max would have been told to just do the opposite. Lewis now backing up the field from 2nd on the restart.

    What a joke of a race track this is. It's not safe and not adequate for modern formula one

    Also stewards are ALWAYS lenient about going off the racetrack at a race start. If they give a penalty there then there about 50 penalties missed so far this season.

    At any other point in the race I'd agree but at the first corner cars go off and rejoin all the time without penalty

    I'm not sure about that they are leientant but he was completely off the track and overtook and swept across in a unsafe way.

    I'll have to watch it again to see exactly how he rejoined because you could be right there. The overtaking part though I think is standard and if it was a midfield driver sky wouldn't even be mentioning it

    If Max gets away with that then any driver may as well just cut the first corner every time. I’ll be stunned if he gets away with it.
