I went to madness concert at arena last weekend it said on ticket had to show QR code or do lsteral flow test to gain entry got to entrance the wernt even checking people phones for negative lateral flow test or QR codes for people vaccine status
15 minutes of non activity I think logs you back out. Hopefully showing a letter or the app on your phone is enough and we don't have to carry photo ID verification so they know for sure the person has been jabbed.
Download the pass in the comfort of your own home and then take a screenshot of it. The pic should work the same as the actual pass itself. That what I did when I went abroad recently cos I didn’t want to be messing about at check in if the phone reception was rubbish and the pic worked fine.
Of course, dont think you really needed to ask that. Even though he has been treated like the club mole on here..
Next time I go to Oakwell I'm just going to try putting one foot in front of the other. Not doing so would be pretty silly as I'd no doubt fall over.
Good point. I think considering the club are going to be asking every supporter their private medical information its fine for us to do the same so id like to see a list of all the player’s vaccination status. Fairs fair. And as red24/7 says - are players going to have to fess up and scan in too? And what happened to the club not standing for any form of discrimination when they are now carrying it out themselves!? Rather hypocritical. No good saying but they’ve told us to do it. Should stand up for what they believe and say all in or none in.
The club are going to have to comply with the tin pot administration we have in charge of our country. One that ignores the rules & laughs at us & sneers.Same as it ever was.
I’ve printed my QR code onto a vest I don’t know what peoples problem is. As soon as I’m asked for it I simply pull up my shirt and reveal my vest, chest and code.
As a back stop, you're allowed access if you're carrying a bottle of wine and half a pound of cheese. Don't forget to giggle in an irritating manner as you pass through the turnstile.
Readily? Very common depending on where in the world you’re travelling. Many countries won’t let you in if you’re not protected from Yellow fever etc. What it hasn’t been in the past is common in this country, but plenty of us have had to show our vaccine status to get in other countries.
Its not the club what are asking for any information , they are only the messenger , they are being dictated to by the new law, should it go through & regarding players , they are no different than any other workers , they have the right to choose whether they have the vaccinations or not , personally I think everyone should have them but I respect any individuals right to choose
In most of Europe you flash your vaccine passport on the way into a shop or bar. It’s considered perfectly normal, takes virtually no time at all. I’m not expecting it to go quite so smoothly at Oakwell, but that’s not because it can’t be done. The biggest issue will be the fans being arseholes about it.
I'm hoping they're still doing their lateral flow tests in which case whether or not they're vaccinated they won't be being hypocritical.
I personally couldnt give 2 hoots if someone - player fan or staff has been jabbed or not. Doesnt change a thing how somene should be treated. I know its not the club bringing these things in but what would they do if it was another minority being discriminated against? Would they still go along with it? Yeah people can still test right now but for how long? More coercion plain and simple.
I keep hearing about yellow fever. I understand it came about in the 80s? In 2005 I travelled around the world - Asia, Australia, NZ, Fiji, Cook Island, Tahiti, US. I didn't need to show that I was vaccinated against yellow fever, and I didn't have to show health records. Has this come about in the last 10 years or so with regards yellow fever? Is that standard for travelling to most countries? I'm not being facetious by the way, I'd genuinely like to know.
