There is a page on how it is analysed if you're interested. https://www.politicalcompass.org/analysis2 It explains the difference between left and right wing as well as authoritarian and libertarian.
So everyone on the BBS is in the same quartile? Has anybody questioned the validity of the exercise? (I'm in the same one, by the way! )
I think everyone is just trying to out left one another now. I imagine anyone who isn't in that quartile is too ashamed to post their graph. There's a couple of screen names I was looking out for, but they haven't posted yet.
I suspect he's following the classic line of the 1920s aristocratic set. Libertarianism for him and his own, practical fascism a handy tool to control everybody else.
It's nice how everybody has posted their little coloured graphs! We can all have a sleep before lunchtime now!
I did manage to get into each quartile by carefully selecting the answers I thought would get me there, so it definitely does work. I need a bath now though.
Anyone got an account for a forum/BBS of a Tory town football club? I'd be interested to see their results? If South Thanet had a club it would be the best area to look at (Where Farage lost).
That's what I find most interesting about it. Because if you have to answer individual questions on policies, rather than wearing a certain colour tie, you may find yourself in a completely different area of the political landscape than you imagine yourself to be.
