The reduced capacities option is being trialed now, there's less & less folk going to each & every game.........& it's nowt to do wi Covid!!
Thank goodness .... we're safe ! We'll all be renewing our season tickets for next year forgetting all our current problems.
Great news if it happens. a. We might win every home game, and some away. b. I can get access codes to watch home games instead of shelling out €11/£9.60 for every match on top of my season ticket cost.
Lots of games getting called off at the minute and Premier League managers are calling for a break in the season. Here we go again.
Pretty inevitable IMO that a lockdown will happen & similar rules to before come in, as the care sector & NHS are not able to cope with the projected rise in infections. Given I'm too ill to go and sit in the cold due to covid leading to chronic bronchitis I would not be gutted by behind closed doors coming back & maybe us actually winning a game or two. I really think this season we are ****** already. I see no signs of Great Escape III sadly. Just a bit of pride would be nice though.
I think it's probably gone beyond playing behind closed doors. It looks like an increasing number of clubs are going to have problems fulfilling fixtures because of infected players, not helped by 41% of them either not being double jabbed or vaccinated at all.
Would be III surely? Flicker was one. Struber was two. Who will be Seven? Will that Monkey go to Heaven.
We should never play behind closed doors or lock down again. Whitty said we need to learn with the virus back in April. Lots of people have had three jabs.
