Apparently the police I believe have pressed charges based on the evidence. She's said it didn't occur.

I remember the last person who didn't want to press charges against her bloke but the police went ahead.

So many abused women backtrack that the decision is now made by the police and CPS. Seeing as he's obviously gota BOGOF with his barrister he'll no doubt say the same "It never happened ". Much as I wanted Daniel to have justice, I mostly wanted the guilty verdict to give his wife the courage to tell the truth. Next time she may not be so lucky, and there are children in the house too.

The judge and jury accepted this as a plausible explanation.

I know he will, my worry is how badly his victim will get hurt. No chance he will, as he hasn't got the guts to offer a fair fight

 

Very different circumstances too I think. From what I recall she was prevented from seeing him and that made her very distressed.

 

His previous violent altercations vary in severity. The Dabo attack many witnesses said if he wasn't restrained he'd have kill him. Most of his off the field attacks, are cheap blindside attacks. He causes damage but seems to show restraint once he's reached his goal. He's clearly a sociopath, his whole makeup is of someone who thinks he's superior in every way. He feels he's able to do and say what he wants. I can only imagine at home, he has everyone terrified.
Would love to see how he treats players and staff at Bristol.

 

Sounds like his defence is the same team Katie Price uses.

Really hope he gets convicted and dismissed by Bristol Rovers as a result, treated as a pariah in the football world forever more.

Anything but the above just goes to prove there is no such thing as karma. Nobody who has behaved like him should deserve a footballer's livelihood and fame.

Miss Price is serial offender, the fact she's be banned 6 times is disgraceful. Her alcohol and drug issues though serious and well documented in this case unfortunately have been used as a crutch.
I don't make that statement flippantly as I know how serious addiction is.
