Kiosk Takeover for FA Cup round 3 will be Bears Street Food. Based locally in Shafton they will be taking over a kiosk. Offering their Brisket, Pork & Gammon sandwiches. COYR
I could do with one of those right now. Got a proper meat craving after an almost vegetarian day (I don’t really count the tiny bits of pork and prawns you get in special fried rice).
couple of suggestions lee. great effort to do something different, and sounds like the flatbread went down a storm. might be worth doing something more with signage. I think you previously referred to 'kiosk 3' or something. didn't mean anything to me, as the kiosks aren't numbered and I've never known them referred to as numbers before. I did find it by following my nose, but when I got there all I noticed was a chalkboard, which even then wasn't too easy to pick out. keep up the good work.
Thanks and totally agree, now we know the concept works and people have bought into it we will certainly be looking to do a full reband of a kiosk (signage, equipment etc). We just needed to prove the demand was there first. COYR
Seconded. There was nothing (that I saw) in the Ponte end to say that the flatbread's were available on Friday. My brother just went up and asked and they said they had them.
I didn't even know they were in the ponty tbh. thought it was east stand only. sounds like they're onto it though
There was a printed A4 sheet saying chicken flatbread £5 on the counter. It's only because I wanted to try one and wandered down the kiosks that I saw it. Very good value though, lots of chicken and veg and a choice of 3 sauces.
After some training I still wasn't convinced that staff would deliver them like how we wanted. We would love to produce great food on each kiosk but in all honesty our staff haven't got the skill set yet. We will get there! COYR
Thanks for the honest reply You’re bringing fame to BFC, I keep seeing the food talked about all over social media.
@Lee Bfc Can I just say that even though I'm unlikely to be one of your customers, it's really nice to see someone seizing the initiative and going for it, taking feedback and criticism on board, and providing open and honest responses. I wish you the best of luck with your endeavors.
