Just wondered if someone had put 2+2 together and made 5 especially with him not playing on Friday

Not beyond the realms of possibility- the board will be looking to cash in on a few players in Jan. I fully expect Woodrow and helik to be sold, rubber stamping our relegation, but meaning, of course, us having had a ‘successful’ season.

Out with a Forest fan last night, he reckons they're after Dike and Woodrow.

WBA havent spent any money so far this season.

    Freebies and loan deals.

Do they actually have cash to.spend?

We've been selling Cauley for the last 4 transfer windows, maybe this time it might come true.

I’m amazed he’s stayed so long. He owes us nothing so good luck to him if he earns a better contract elsewhere. Just not BDTBL!

Easy. They just need a take over by our beloved owners. Well it’s working for us!

Cauley would be an improvement on Hugill. If he got the right service he would get his mojo back. I think he will be moving on soon, if the right offer comes in TBH, to progress his career & get away from the boo boys he has recognised at Oakwell. That said, someone has to cross PMG's palms with sufficient silver. I think £1.5-£2 million & he's gone. He's been a great player for us & I agree he would be missed. If it was reinvested in some real quality in the middle of the park, (which it won't be, just more "punts"), then maybe? I really have little faith in our transfer policy since Dane left.

Yes because cauley has been a goalscoring machine this season? But lets take the heat off cauley by slagging another player off.

He would get cold and lonely there waiting for our midfield to pass the ball to him. I agree he will start to score, if he gets the service, but he has to spend his time dropping deep to get the ball and try and make a pass, rather than being on the end of one.

Here we go again , no one is slagging anyone off & despite the fact the whole team is struggling for goals you find time to have another go at Cauley , well at least you will be happy when he leaves, incidentally there is no heat on Cauley, he is still our top goal scorer .

Your post said and i quote
"would please the boo boys who will rejoice in managing to drive him out of the club & once he is replaced by Victor the goal machine"

No ones trying to drive him out. If people gave cauley as much stick as you do vic i think you would be in tears. Probley one of them who booed him on the pitch and cheered him off.

If it's anything to do with Ismael, I'm sure he'll be asking for somebody with a bit more physicality.

You have not a clue about me at all, I have never booed a Barnsley player in my life & never will, they all get my total support every match & if you think that saying that Vic is a goal scoring machine is slagging him off then you must be the most sensitive person to walk this planet , stop bleating Redrum you are making something out of nothing

It’s a no brainer for them. They can bring him in & use him as part of 6 forwards Val rotates between & his wages will be like loose change for them with parachute payments.

If they don’t go up he continues to be a useful forward for them. If they go up he probably gets loaned back to the championship & they won’t care they’re paying some of his wage.
