Oh well, was looking forward to that as I’ve missed a few recently (through circumstance rather than choice), hopefully the rearranged date won’t make it another game I miss from my season pass
Erm, because if they’re really down to the ‘bare bones’ they would have a lot less of a chance of beating us as poor as we are.
Chuff, just bought my tickets, coming over from Denmark with my son......gonna have to find some other way of punishing him now.
We lose money from a reduced crowd on the new date. We risk a fixture pile up through no fault of our own. We will play a far stronger Stoke team than we should be. The EFL should look at changing the rules that if a date for a game moves only the players fit and able to play in the original fixture can play. It's unfair Stoke get to call it off and then probably have some long term injured players back when eventually do play them.
There's loads of games been called off recently in all four divisions. Why are we suddenly moaning as though this has only happened to us? It just means we'll play on a Saturday when we're out of the FA Cup later in the season which will give us something to look forward to when others aren't playing.
Are u saying that the postponing club have to divulge which players have covid related illness and which have normal football related injuries and are then not allowed to play the football related injured players in the rescheduled fixture? You know there's no way that can happen honestly.
Wish I had your confidence. I feel early January we are heading for football with no fans again, along with other large events scrapped, theatres, cinemas, restricted/closed and pubs back to masks and reduced numbers.
Possibly. But I was just referring to this game, which probably won't be rearranged until March at the earliest as both clubs will wait till they're out of the cup. Wouldn't like to speculate on your other points, because I've no idea and I made a pact with myself to not discuss covid stuff anymore.
All depends on the hospitalisation rates of the new variant with the booster rates and vaccine take up. If there’s a sharp uptick in hospital admissions in the next 5-6 days we’ll be aFull lockdown by the 27th. If not, I think we will keep going
