    Not sure. He wasn't featuring, and most on here wasn't enthralled when he was selected.

    I'm pretty sure the owners budgeted their entire contracts in.on every player they signed.

    So in theory, if releasing early and mutual agreement, it could also free up funds we had already allocated. And therefore a saving of sorts....

    Maybe it makes more sense to get him off the wage bill now, and just take the hit on the transfer fee. We need reinforcements, and he might be one of a number of fringe players who need to make way before we can bring someone else in.

    Yes we did, but given his contract is up at the end of the season, chances of anybody paying a fee for him is pretty slim. No idea what salary he's on, but am guessing that it will be higher than his position in the playing pecking order would suggest, with Woodrow, Morris, Iseka, Cole and even Odour and Styles seemingly ahead of him for a place in the front three. So reaching an agreement with him now is probably better financially than continuing to pay him to not play.
