    I don't understand.

I'm making no claims about the owners taking money out of the club.

My point is simply that my and your reason for wanting Barnsley to do well is not the same as theirs. Worse, the owners don't care about our reason. Even worse, the only reason they care about fans being happy at all is because a happy fan is a spendy fan and a showy uppy fan, and in combination, they will incrementally increase the club's value. For example, doing well in League 1: bombarded with pics of Conway and media apps. So where have all the pictures of the Conway Gang at away games gone from the social media channels? "They love an away day!"

    Do they fùck.

On the season tickets point, specifically. That was an example of how our loyalty to the club was monetised by the ownership. Did they use our loyalty as fans to convince us to buy season tickets when there was little to no chance we'd get to use it? Yes. I didn't say they took that money out of the club. (If that's what you think I said; I didn't understand your reply.)

    You’ve e lost me tbh .
You were saying we’re a captive audience who the owners can extract money from and as I said it’s not going into their pockets as far as I can see .
If you’re not saying they are then why bring it up ?
The money as always Is generated from fans and invested in the club so I unsure why you brought that up in the same sentence as the owners don’t care ?
I don’t think money generated from our fans is enough of an investment to keep us in the championship .
It has to be subsidised with several other revenues including player sales .
There is a question over an alleged £750,000 shortfall but imo in the context of championship football is chicken feed but that’s not a reason to not question it .
My disappointment with the owners comes from lack of investment from monies from their businesses which were in their words to build the structure of the club increasing its worth them selling on .
NOne of this has been the case and that’s my concern .
