    Use this please. Put in some heartwarming stories or uplifting news. Brighten up the place.

    My go. Tonight my village is on its second giveaway/collection. It's not long since been on calendar.

    Village coming together to create the Santa sleigh, going around all the streets. And not yet got to my street but are collecting food donations etc

    Last year was great, and I suspect this year will be even better. Especially as it's now aired on TV.

    So, let's have some positive messages, positive news. Stuff to make people's smile who are struggling......

    I’ve had a lovely birthday walk with the husband and the pup and had a very tasty tea of Japanese steak with asparagus followed by cake and wine. It’s not anywhere near as uplifting and relatable to others as yours but I’m feeling pretty positive today.

    Our cooker packed up today, but I was able to get the spare part locally and fix it myself. Replacement oven element. Tomorrow's headlines - Goat saves Christmas!

    No need on this occasion. The loss of heat was a giveaway and on inspection I could see the burnt out portion of the old element.
    That said, I'm seriously considering getting a multimeter. I can see how it would be useful in similar situations. If only I knew someone who could advise which model might be best...?
