Sounds like someone needs wine, lots of wine :D:D:D

Seriously, that's not what you need JD. Hope everything goes ok for you guys. Your mum and dad should be grateful you guys have asked them round!

Not had turkey for years, too dry for me, and no sprouts either. In the UK we tend to have lamb or pork, and sometimes a Chateaubriand steak for two. In Germany goose or wild boar, and Chateaubriand there too.

Having said all that, today I'm Billy No Mates, courtesy of corona, so I'm off to the Mahal.

Merry Christmas everyone, enjoy your day.

A great meal, if you leave out the sprouts.

We had duck for new year a few years back. Absolutely beautiful but not a lot of meat for four adults.

By the way, your mum sounds like an absolute nightmare! Mine can be a bit of a pain but in general she's pretty sound. I think the only answer is to drink through it!

Had parched peas last night, that’s a first for me. Decent but a tad windy overnight
