Just announced they’re having a baby girl! Makes total sense that they’d want to return nearer home to have family support. Fair play to the club for dealing with it like they did.
If the club thought they could have got a decent fee he wouldn't have been allowed to leave. Linked to the fact he is considered surplus to requirements despite how useless we are. Good luck to the lad always put a shift in but never looked good enough for the Championship (which is ironic I guess)
Like they did with Sollbauer,it doesn't hurt to give the club credit you know.Football isn't slave labour and its good to see compassion shown to players who are miles away from there loved ones.
Wasn't knocking them. We wouldn't let a player go under the exact same circumstances if they had a resale value higher than the continued cost of wages. I assume the mutal content was he didn't get paid the full amount remains on his contract. It would have been little more than a business decsion, that's all I was saying. If people think otherwise then fair enough.
If it’s mutual, frieser will have forgone some wages. Club saves money rather than paying a player who’s not going to feature much. It’s unlikely we’d have gotten a fee, so best we could do in the situation. It certainly doesn’t smack of some noble action, just suits the club as much as the player in this situation.
I think some of our fans think we're run by the Legion of Doom (the comic one, not the wrestling one).
Proper grafter, really liked the kid. Being a parent changes things, hope he does well back home. Would always be welcome in my house, worked his nuts off in a reds shirt.
I know I'm a bit thick but why does his partner being pregnant suddenly mean that he asked for his release and was granted it? Seems like someone has put 2 and 2 together and got 47.
Fairly obvious to be fair, but….. Because they are both Austrians, living in Sheffield with no family and only limited friends, along with Covid restrictions and restricted travel ongoing. I’ve no idea if you have kids, but most parents will confirm that having family and close friends around if you are fortunate to have them, is a massive help. Even more so if they are really a close family. Basically a solid loving support network. The similar reason why Solbauer and Radlinger left to be with their young families.
Dynamo Dresden are after him. If that happens then him leaving won't be so he can be nearer to home..... https://www.laola1.at/de/red/fussba...-ist-dem-lask-zu-teuer---rapid-oder-dresden-/
It is but it's still not the same country as their families to help them. I still think he will sign for a club in Austria.
