My problem is the adoption of someone who is not English, because they fit into a middle class narrative and have sporting success. She is the Daily Mail's and the ABC1s golden girl at the moment, because they believe she brings a reflection of success. Ignoring the fact she and her family are economic migrants and the colour of her skin. The hypocrisy is deafening . I don't have a problem with immigration ST but this love-in around her is offensive, when we see how other migrants and UK born people are treated.

I'd say someone who's lived here since the age of 2 is British. I'd understand what you were on about if she was in her late teens when she arrived.
