Why?! These bunch of losers have won twice in 5 months. if it’s anyone on here why do you do it? Are we now accepting failure, are we just happy to turn up? I honestly do not get it. We go on about tue owners accepting failure but we’re just as bad… we might as well just chalk **** on it now and start from scratch in the Conference.
Morris looked gutted walking off confidence looks rock bottom i know who frustration should be aimed at.
I wasn’t there to applaud. But if those boys completely out of their depth and without proper leadership tried their best then yes, I’d applaud them. There are very many causes for our plight and many to blame but it isn’t the players on the pitch at fault for the fact they have no rudder. They need a little bit of experience on the pitch and a proper manager on the touchline. Bringing in Asbaghi, if we needed any more confirmation, is evidence that they don’t actually want to sustain championship status. We needed guidance and proper leadership. They brought in another kid to try and profit. Easier to make money on players from league one. Or so they think - they’ve a shock coming when they realise how bad we will still be one division down when we’ve lost the best of the current squad
Because some fans will accept any old *****, got no drive and ambition. Will easily accept mediocrity and excuse it at any opportunity! Quite frankly I think Woodrow aside, some of these players have had an easy ride given the ***** they've served up.
I applauded them to show I am still with them and because they had the decency to come over to show appreciation to the travelling fans. Victor lead the way and the rest followed but Benson nearly forgot. He was walking off and then turned back around.
8 of the 11 that started were here last season when we finished 5th. I absolutely agree that they've been buggered about by useless coaches and the despicable arseholes hiring them, but they HAVE to take some responsibility. They're consistently ******* up every game - I'm sure they aren't being told to give the ball away constantly, not get in the box when attacking or mark up when defending. They're being paid a lot of money to manage 2 whole wins this season.
Benson may as well have not bothered. How long are you going to stick with them? What if we break the record low points total of 23 set by Rotherham? It's all well and good showing support but when you've got a bunch of pathetic losers who want us to feel sorry for them, nah, I'm not having that. If the players start showing some fight and passion (even if the quality isn't quite there) then that support will be there by most if not all fans.
Yes they were. So was a proper manager, (and assistant), a ceo, a club Secretary, a proper leader (and experience) in the middle of the park, and an experienced older head amongst the centre halves, who even when not playing was a fantastic presence in the squad. We replaced the manager we had, who led, out of necessity, with a rod of iron - with someone in Schopp, who, through no fault of his, wasn’t the right person to replace him as he wasn’t that personality. In turn, he’s been replaced with another placid and passive coach, who’s sole purpose is to make them pass it around prettily and lose so they increase in value. Or at least regain some value. People disagree. That’s fine. But I place absolutely no blame at the feet of any of the playing staff for this. The heart and soul of the team was ripped out. Some of that beyond their control. But not one bit of effort was made to properly replace it. They finished fifth and didn’t want to do it again. The style didn’t fit the agenda. The priority was ripping up and starting again so that the players can be sold on. Those players left behind will know that more than any of us supporters, I am massively disheartened, how do they feel? Woodrow has looked woeful. He has tried as hard as ever he has, there hasn’t been a drop in effort. Same with Brittain. They are playing with the weight of the world on their shoulders. And have been broadly crap. I know where I place the blame.
Far easier to applaude them when they are winning, but it's now that they need the most to see the fans are still behind them. I went to Blackpool and didn't want to see any of them at full time. Today though we did OK in parts away from home against one of the best teams in the league and all three coaches coming over standing together applauding after the players it was appreciated.
Benson turning around wasn't that he forgot. He's been doing it for weeks turning around back towards his defence
Following Victor off, realising he had shunned the fans and changing his direction was the quickest turn of foot I have seen from him in a Barnsley shirt. If he had carried on walking it wouldn't have looked good.
Yeah I know. Was also at Blackpool so I get where your coming from. Second half was more even, and we did battle tbf. But if they had their shooting boots on, we should have been 4 down at least before we scored. What's PA do? Not seen him mentioned, like MS who couldn't wait to run out the way like
Yeah we gifted them a lot of chances. They shouldn't have had the goal disallowed because the game should have stopped long before. We were lucky when they hit the post and it rolled along the line. A striker who knows how to score and an experienced midfielder and we won't be too bad. We don't need wholesale changes but we need to stop doing 2 or 3 passes just to leave our own penalty area.
Well from the commentary the ref had stopped the game well before they scored as regards the first ooportunity.
Is it the.. at least we have a club section.? The Booo Wigan and Bristol City. But are shushy shushy on Coventry Luton Blackpool and Rotherham brigade
