Been reading the WBA forum and it looks like Jordan Hugill is having his loan deal cut short and returning back to Norwich and they are also looking to get Kenneth Zohore off their wage bill. That would leave them Grant Dike Robinson and Diangana as strike options.
Underperforming side struggling for goals make much needed early January signing of top notch striker. If only.
I might be a bit lonely with this view, but I’m not so sure DK will be the smash hit some think. I reckon he’d been found out at the back end of his spell with us. He may have matured and added another facet to his game, but the jury is out on a £7 m gamble for me.
Surely not!! none of our players increased in value playing the type of football that got us to 5th in the league (apparently) On a serious note I wish him well at WBA. He did all we could have asked for for us and owes us nothing
Maybe it's time to start watching West Brom cos it seems like it's a clone of the Reds but with balls and good management.
I can only guess but you would have thought that deal West Brom have struck would have not been far off, however I am only presuming that our deal would have been dependent on us gaining promotion & therefore the price might have been higher with us landing the premier league riches, but again I stress I am only guessing & could be well off the mark, what is your opinion ?
all abut they context - i read that as scout dekay! Maybe they got Peg Leg this time cos he's carrying an injury
Looked at his 2021 goals , a good range in there. Think they could make money from him whether or not he gets them to the Prem. Apparently Orlando have a 20% sell on clause.
Nice write up by Orlando: We would like to thank Daryl for all he has given to Orlando City throughout his time here,” EVP of soccer operations Luiz Muzzi said in a release. “From the moment we drafted him, we knew Daryl was a special talent, and this opportunity is a credit to both his natural talent and his dedication over the last two years. We are happy that he was able to develop here in Orlando and grow into the player he is today. "While we know he will go on to do tremendous things in his career, it’s an honor to say that Daryl got his start here in Orlando, that we played a strong role in helping him get to this new challenge. We wish Daryl nothing but the best in this next chapter.”
This sounds also as though the Baggies won't be in now for Cauley Woodrow, as it was reported the hefty fee demanded by Orlando would preclude further transfers. We will see.
