    With the season we had under Val and
    If we’d had a decent half season this time we’d have had a good chance of attracting those type of players hoping to further their career .
    However after this car crash half season and seeing our midfield crumble at the faintest sight of a competitive opposition their agents will tell them to run a mile from us ,especially the wages which wouldn’t have been as big an issue if they thought they could do a Pinnock , Stones,Holgate and even Jacob Brown .

    We always get linked with some decent L1 players but against competition that we’ve no hope of beating, especially in our current situation.

    Was in a conversation other day regarding Helik. With just breaking into the national team and a major tournament on the horizon I'd be suprised to see him here in February. Not many L1 players get to play in a World Cup.

    Aye, MK Dons have been good this year so chance they could lose a few. Shame we’re not a little higher up the table and we may have had a chance. We’ll be shopping at bottom of League 1, League 2 and abroad.

    I know that it happens; I just don’t get why it happens.

    Humans are supposed to be inquisitive creatures, it used to take a lot of effort to radicalise, but now some 15 yr old moron with a Twitter account can drive the emotions of ‘adults’.

    Then why would you have such a reaction?

    I’d consider myself fairly ‘normal’ and my reaction to reading that £750k tweet was ‘Really?’ Followed by checking the guys previous posting history. Which told me that there was no chance it was true.

    Your reaction was to treat it as if it was true and get annoyed (or fake being annoyed) about it, with no further evidence.

    At the risk of labouring my point about being inquisitive; why would you do that?

    If you could be a**ed to read the whole thread you will see that i replied to Rc.tyke by saying that it was probably nonsense but in my opinion the figures bandied ie £750k were about right for styles on this seasons showing compared to to his stock last season..only my opinion of course..
