Could think of so many excuses to use about not going to the match on Saturday but the truth is the match day experience at Oakwell for me is currently at rock bottom and definitely the worst I’ve ever experienced in 55 years. Forcing myself to games where there is absolutely no atmosphere and looking at a near empty West Stand has been horrible and losing the Ponty End for the match will only make it worse……if that’s at all possible.
Beat ya by one week mate. Another year for us to wait for state pension. Grrrrrrrrrrrrr Good luck to Fev hope you have a better season than us. If anyone deserves promotion it's your lot. My bro and his lot moan about your season ticket prices though. Am I right in thinking you only save one game. ?
They have gone up £40 to £240 but 65 + is £180 ,its to pay for having a decent team i suppose because we've got some cracking players ( on paper at least lol) plenty still there from last season as well. I haven't looked yet at how much you save buying a ST i just get one every season.
Dear Fellow Tykes, I will be going to the FA Cup tie against Barrow; all the way from the Isle of Man. I do not often get the chance to watch The Reds, but at Oakwell I will soak up the atmosphere and cheer on the team, as I have done since 1968. So come and support your team if possible and let's get a result and look forward to the 4th Round draw.
I thought some people were hoping for a Blackpool type "not a penny more "approach". I take it that its no longer happening then.
It was so predicated at Blackpool though. If there is an " official" boycott that will make a much stronger point rather than just a few individuals deciding not to go.
I think the boycott would have to be something official by supporters trust or whatever like Blackpool was. Obviously 90% of fans arent happy with whats going on on the pitch or behind the scenes the silence, unanswered questions etc but we obviously still care for the club if we all just jack it in we will sink faster than the titanic.
