    Barnsley 3-1 Bolton, 1988. Julian Broddle's finest hour. Brilliant atmosphere, proper cup tie. I also remember the immense disappointment of losing to Birmingham in the next round, when Tony fcking Rees scored for them.

    But it was the next few seasons which really gave us the magic of the cup in its full magnificence. The Stoke replay and subsequent Everton match. Leicester away in the mud, Mal Shotton geeing up the crowd in the final few minutes. Sheffield United away and Ian Banks's Odejayi moment to make the game safe just before half time. Back when it was a fair game played on a level playing field and the FA Cup really meant something. Before the Premier League and "Champions" league came along and ruined things forever.

    Leicester City in 1961.I went with my dad and was aged 6. Been a regular at Oakwell since 1968. Present mood at Oakwell similar to bad old days of 1970s.

    I also seem to remember Graham? Reed getting a couple of goals that day. @JLWBigLil i need you to confirm on this one as I was very young at the time.

    Anyone recall tonking West Ham 4-1 in 1993? Andy Rammell hat trick, and a mass exodus of West Ham fans from the Spion Kop at half time :D

    My first one was the 4-3 win vs Reading in 1985.

    I can't recall much about the game itself, but it was my 3rd time at Oakwell and the first game I saw the Reds win or score a goal (the previous two being losses to Leeds and Sheff Weds in the same season).

    Yep awesome.

    I have such magical memories of the FA Cup, referring to @Merde Tete ’s post as above (as he’s my brother so we were both at those games as kids)

    If I close my eyes and think really hard I can almost put myself back there and smell the excitement & anticipation.
