Conway isn't the only problem, but removing him is a part of the solution. A group of fed up fans - none with any allegiances to existing fan groups, have set up a Facebook group to pool resources, social media connections and ideas re steps forward for the club and seeking a viable solution to the current malaise. All welcome - https://www.facebook.com/groups/259945496234761 If the link doesn't work search Conway Out on Facebook.
Before I go any further, has this fans group proposed any viable alternatives? Or is it just people venting at the current owners?
Would a clean slate at board level not be a better option, rather than just aiming the group at one guy?
But if they've decided they want Conway out, surely they've an alternative in mind? Or is it another Brexit situation where they want something but they don't actually know what that entails?
Also, from the outside a private group just looks like a place for people to throw about liable and slander without being caught. For what it's worth, I really want a change of owners at Oakwell, but I don't think this group is a particularly helpful way of achieving that goal.
This^ should be entitled get rid of the 80% but conway is a slimey bloke though all around the fans when were top 2 in league one cant do enough interviews but when your bottom of the championship no where to be seen and his ceo has lost his voice.
Maybe we can all club together and buy them out ,if we all put a grand in that’s 10,000 x 1000 that’s 10 million
I'm interested in the co-op model, however there isn't a prayer we would raise that kind of money. even if we did, that would probably get you to Yr2, before you ran out of money. if we ever did go down a sustainable co-op route, we'd likely be operating around League 2. I'd be absolutely fine with that by the way Patrick Cryne repeatedly offered to gift the Club to a co-op, and no one ever came up with a viable plan
But what if his wife's happy and the leaves have been cleared from his drive. Would he take his flatbread with him too?
I don't think Conway gave many interviews when we were doing well in league 1 either. I think the issue is, the silence is more obvious when things aren't going well.
I remeber him been in the away end at burnley in the f.a cup telling fans this and that get ready for the January window, did the interview with luke at tykes t.v. an interview now would be intresting with tykes t.v or even just the ceo speaking to the fans we havent heard from him for 2 months.
