    Surely it should be open to all fans or it's not going to get very far with its objectives ( assuming that is what it says on the tin!)

    Unfortunately this is precisely the reason why I don’t tend to join Facebook groups. Already we have people on here getting abusive towards people who are asking questions about it. It’s a closed group, which seems to exclude certain groups from the off and people are already starting to get banned/blocked. It’s already coming across as divisive.

    I'm not sure who's part of the supporters trust on here to be honest! But you'd think a fan group would want as much cross-group support as possible, rather than alienating them all...

    I'd suspect any progressive move forward as a fan collective would require the supporters trust to be integral to it, though I'm not sure that would transpire any time soon and under what circumstances such a move would be made.

    Ive just been on and asked if Gally has indeed been blocked and for what reason if he as. I've also commented that as Gally as for years been prepared to fund out of his own pocket an independent forum for Barnsley fans to express their opinions on matters related to Barnsley FC he should be welcomed into the group. I'll post the answer if and when I receive one.

    Said yesterday if there serious about this (which i dont blame them at all) then they want the supporters trust and as much as the fan base as possible on board like blackpool did.

    Just like on here there’s posts advertising it on every Fan page I’m a member of ,this is taken from their original statement ;
    “We've nothing to hide, our motives are plain and simple.
    So if one of Conway's cronies gets on here as a member it's no problem. They will just see the strength of feeling Against them “
    Not that Gally could in anyway be seen as a Conway crony

    I was intending to add myself to it today, but will await the outcome of the query re: Gally before doing so. I see little point in the group if it's going to unilaterally exclude people without reason or explanation, so am hopeful that whatever has happened with him gets resolved.
